The Brides of Owl's Head is an enthralling find for lovers of classic historical gothic romance. The extremely resourceful and determined heroine bounces back from one-two punches like the Energizer Bunny, and several potential villains/heroes are plausibly disguised in an intricate plot full of carrots for the reader and heroine alike. Author Allison Knight peppers this well written story with many traditional gothic elements that gothic romance fans will relish, leading them to clamor for more from this talented author.
